Maps that work without signal
Hunting grounds are often where the coverage ends. Save your association's districts, or the ground around you, on your phone at home, and the satellite map, the 3D terrain and the district borders keep working in the field, with your position and your route on them.

What you can save
Your districts in one tap
Save every district of an association together, with a kilometre around each, from Offline maps in Settings or straight from the district map.
Any area
Save the part of the map you are looking at from the hunt map's Tools, or a square around where you are, as large as you choose.
Satellite and 3D terrain
Each saved map holds the satellite imagery and the elevation for the 3D terrain. High detail adds a closer zoom level, for single trees and rides.
The size before you save
HunTracker estimates how much space a map takes before it downloads, and saves on Wi-Fi only unless you choose to save anyway.
Kept up to date
Saved maps are listed with their size and date. When newer imagery is available you can update them, and you can delete any you no longer need.
Out in the field
With no signal, the hunt map shows an offline sign and draws from your saved maps, and so does the district editor. Your journal and GPS route keep recording, and everything syncs once you are back in range.
How it works
- Open Settings, then Offline maps.
- Pick your association's districts, or the area around you.
- Choose standard or high detail, and check the estimated size.
- Save it at home, on Wi-Fi.
- Head out: the map works where the signal ends.

Questions and answers
How much space does an offline map take?
It depends on the area and the detail. HunTracker shows the estimated size before you save, and the size of every saved map in the list.
Do saved maps expire?
No. They stay on your phone until you delete them. If your Pro subscription ends, they are removed after 30 days.
Does GPS work without signal?
Yes. Your phone's GPS needs no mobile data, so your position and route are recorded offline; the saved map is what shows the ground under them.
Can I save maps in the web app?
No. Offline maps are saved on your phone or tablet, where you need them in the field.
