HunTracker · Help
Phones, tablets and the web app
Your journal follows your account, not your phone. Here is how backup and sync work, how to open HunTracker on a computer, and how to move Pro to a new device.
Backup and sync
- Open Hunter › Settings › Syncing and data.
- Without Pro, Back up my records keeps a text copy of your hunts, harvests and equipment in your account.
- With Pro, Enable syncing keeps everything, photos and videos included, the same on every device.
- Turn off Sync over mobile data if you would rather sync on Wi-Fi only.
Sign in to the web app
- On your computer, open web.huntracker.app.
- Choose Sign in with your phone. A QR code appears.
- On the phone, open Hunter › Settings › Sign in on the web and scan it.
- Confirm on the phone. The browser is signed in.
Tip The web app is for reading and editing your journal, statistics and district maps on a big screen. Hunts are started on the phone, where the GPS is.
Move Pro to a new device
Pro works on three phones or tablets at a time, and in the web app. A device you have not used for 30 days frees its slot by itself.
- Open Hunter › Settings › Your devices.
- Tap a device you no longer use and Release it, or Replace it with the one in your hand.
Free and Pro
The text backup of your records is free. Sync, photo and video backup and the web app are part of Pro. Compare Free and Pro →
