Sharing a hunt on social media
Every finished hunt can become a card: the photo, the route, the harvests, the equipment and the story, in the order you choose. It is free for everyone.
Open the share card
- Finish the hunt first; cards are made from finished hunts.
- In the Journal, open the hunt's menu and tap Share, or tap Share as image at the top of the hunt.
- The card opens with the hunt's photo, route and harvests already on it.
Make it yours
- Tap Add module to add a GPS track, a Photo, the Shot / observation details, the Equipment used, the Story or your Invitation code.
- Hold a module to move it up or down, or drag it to Remove.
- With more than one photo, tap the photo to Choose a photo; with several harvests, Choose a shot or observation.
- On the route, switch between Satellite and Topo map behind the track.
- Choose Light mode or Dark mode for the card.
Tip HunTracker remembers the modules you picked, so the next card starts the same way.
Post it
- Tap Share.
- Your phone's share sheet opens with the card as an image: post it to Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp, send it in a chat, or save it to your photos.
Free and Pro
Share cards are free for everyone. The route on the card needs a GPS path, which is recorded with Pro. Compare Free and Pro →
Questions and answers
Does the card show exactly where I hunted?
Only if you add the GPS track. Leave it off, and the card carries the photo and the harvests without the place.
Can I put my invitation code on the card?
Yes: add the Invitation code module. Hunters who sign up with it count as your referrals.
