Notes

  1. Austria: Provincial hunting laws (Landesjagdgesetze) may establish differing seasons and local closed periods.
  2. Czechia: Transitional measures and emergency measures under Decree 245/2002 Sb. § 2a take precedence.
  3. Germany: Federal hunting season. The 16 federal states (Bundesländer) may establish different or more restrictive seasons in their own regulations.
  4. Hungary: The combined daily bag for greylag goose, bean goose and greater white-fronted goose is 6, including at most 2 bean geese.
  5. Poland: Hunting seasons under the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 2005 as amended.
  6. Romania: Seasons pursuant to Annex 1 of Hunting Law No. 407/2006. Harvests are subject to annual ministerial quotas and permits.
  7. Slovakia: National hunting seasons under Section 71 of Decree 344/2009 Z. z. Territorial restrictions may apply.
