Notes

  1. Germany: Federal hunting season. The 16 federal states (Bundesländer) may establish different or more restrictive seasons in their own regulations.
  2. Norway: National seasons under the 2022–2028 regulation of Miljødirektoratet. County-level restrictions and quotas may apply.
  3. Sweden: Swedish Hunting Ordinance (Jaktförordning). Regional variations by län (county) apply.
  4. Switzerland: Federal framework seasons under the Swiss Federal Hunting Act (JSG). The 26 cantons annual regulations take precedence.
